Aspen Creek Landscaping Inc. is based in Newberg, Oregon. We are proud to provide residential and commercial landscaping maintenance and installations to our customers in Oregon.
A successful company is built on its customers and employees, so we have focused on creating systems and infrastructures that deliver consistent, high quality landscape services at a fair price. Scott Picker - Owner/General Manager

Scott’s passion for plants started as a kid growing up in Hermiston, Oregon (the only manicured part of the farm was Scott’s vegetable garden.) At the time of high school graduation, Scott already had four of his friends and his older brother working in his yard maintenance company. Washington State University proved to be the right fit for Scott as he excelled as a horticulture student. Scott started out in Landscape Architecture then graduated in Agriculture Education with an emphasis in Horticulture in 1998. He then went on to teach Landscape Architecture & Horticulture at Evergreen High School in Vancouver, but soon learned that the classroom was not always outside. Working for Simplot as a Golf Course and crop advising was his next adventure as his wife finished her degree in Veterinary Medicine at OSU. In 2000 Scott and his wife moved to Newberg to start Aspen Creek Landscaping, Inc. Scott faces the challenges of the business with his wife Amelia and their two young children, Carson and Emily. The Family loves soccer and spending time on their five acres in the hills of Dundee.

Dan first started landscaping in the summer of 1990 as a 17 year-old trying to keep himself busy during the summer break at Dennis’ Seven Dees Landscaping. He spent 3 summers there, mainly focusing on irrigation, and one summer in Corvallis working for B. Johnson Turf and Irrigation. After graduating from Oregon State in the summer of 1996 (yes, it took 5 years), he went to work as a computer programmer in Seattle, where he quickly found out that sitting behind a desk writing code is no way to spend one’s life! In the spring of 1998 he returned to the landscaping field and spent the next seven years working as a commercial estimator for Dennis’ Seven Dees Landscaping. Wanting to get his hands dirty again, he took a job with Aspen Creek in the summer of 2005 and has been able to expand his knowledge in sales, project supervision, and management duties, while bringing his estimating and irrigation knowledge to the table. Dan’s home life doesn’t slow down much. He and his wife, Jennifer are avid skiers and mountain bikers, logging about 40 days a year on the mountain, and about 1000+ miles on the bike. They have no kids, but do own two dogs that keep them busy. His wife, Jennifer is a personal trainer and a ski instructor.
Gene Piros - Office Manager

Gene studied business administration at Edmonds Community College and Landscape Technology at PCC Rock Creek. He brings professionalism & organization to Aspen Creek Landscaping with his wide range of business experience. He helped establish a residential landscape maintenance company in the mid 70’s that grew to a client base of approximately 200 accounts. His Retail Clothing, Food & Hospitality Service, Warehouse, Wholesale Nursery, Customer Service & Sales Mgmt have all prepared Gene to make your contact with Aspen Creek friendly and efficient and allow our Sales Reps to be out on the job as much as possible. Gene enjoys his wife and 3 kids and spending time at the Oregon Coast.
